Now it turns out John Edwards is worth a good Republican smear job after it turns out that he was cheered and not booed after taking to the stage during a John Mellencamp concert. John the rockstar introduced John the Next President with a dedication of "Small Town," and the words that “This guy’s from a small town and just so happens to be running for president of the United States.” After thanking the cheering crowd for their support, John Edwards remarked that "You didn’t come to listen to me, so I’m not singing," and made his way off stage after he walked around all the bras fans had hurled at rockstar John. So you know it was a proper kinda rock concert!!
